"I think we ended up here because of lack of leadership in the progressive party. You can't articulate a message when you really don't have one. Except for being against everything. People want leaders who do things that aren't popular, but are good for the future of America. John Kerry is the perfect example, we can tell you what he's against but who could say what he stood for?

Beside the party line rhetoric that has to be said year in and year out even though nothing is ever done about any of the so called progressive core values. I really think America is fed up with progressives being against everything whether its good for America or not and not coming up with solutions of their own.

Its easy to just say "get the troops out of Iraq" but most Americans know that it is not realistic to do that at this point. Hell we're not even out of the former Yugoslavia yet, progressives must pick their fights better, or else it comes off as whining.

The main thing is there has to be a clear message not one from the far left and one from the middle it has to be either or, and not be afraid to state it."
