Get it Straight, it is the Democratic Party, not the "Democrat" Party!

I watched last night's State of the Union Address expecting to hear more talk about the "war on terror" and "the lessons of September 11th" and W did not disappoint. This "one trick pony" can't seem to quit trying to link Iraq to 9/11. Still, Bush was not quite his usual abrasive, "Decider" self or was he?

GWB started the evening off by cordially welcoming Nancy Pelosi with fawning references to her father and the "honor" or welcoming the first female Speaker of the House. Next he complimented the new majority or did he?

"I would like to congratulate the new Democrat majority..." He just couldn't help himself. In that brief instant the smart-ass petulant Bush showed his true colors, just as he did by announcing his escalation of the Iraq War shortly after the new Democratic Majority assumed control. Make no mistake. This man has no intention of being bipartisan.

I wonder when the new Democratic majority will begin challenging the President, the right-wing media, and other talking heads and pundits to properly address the Democratic Party as the Democratic Party, and quit mouthing the "rat" sounding "Democrat" Party to disrespect an American political party that traces its roots back to Thomas Jefferson?
