Will America Lead?
We will win only if we change. It is a question of priorities.
In terms of homeland security, America needs to conduct an unbiased national threat analysis and attack threats in an intelligent, methodical manner. We can no longer afford ideologically driven policies to dominate America. And to promise more security while delivering less.
A prioritized threat reducing action plan needs to focus on the greatest vulnerabilities. Following are a few vulnerable areas: massive national debts, dependency on foreign sources of oil, environmental degradation, declining global standing in education, outsourcing and debt held by foreigners, global warming, violent crime, war, terrorism, lack of protection for whistleblowers, etc. etc. etc.
What are America's priorities? Look at the budget.
