Well, we learned sometime in the Cell saga that 18 started out as a human and was modified to be a cyborg android. This also means that Marron might be the first human-cyborg hybrid offspring in existence, though not the only one. Android 17 was revealed to also have had a child in Dragon Ball Super.

Android 18 isn’t exactly an android, she’s specifically a cyborg. She was human once but Dr.Gero remodeled her and added cybernetics. Gero left her human enough to conceive a child.
Android 1 (人造人間1号, Jinzōningen Ichi) is an unseen fictional character in the Dragon Ball franchise. Dr. Gero’s first creation, Android 1 was allegedly designed to serve the Red Ribbon Army, but was malfunctioning in the same vein as Android 8.

Krillin doesn’t have a Super Saiyan mode because he’s only human. He has managed to learn one of the most powerful attacks in the series: the Destructo Disc. This sawblade forged of ki has the potential to slice any foe.
Geode (ジオード Ji-o-do)is the biological child of Android 17 and the nephew of Android 18. He is the youngest of 3 and the only biological child of Android 17. He is quite unique as he is the child of not one but two androids created by the red ribbon army.
Although 18 kissed Krillin suddenly to tease him when they met, that is what set the stage for Krillin to pursue her. In Future Trunks’ timeline, 18 killed Krillin without hesitation, and thus they never married and had a family.
Red Ribbon Androids: While not completely immortal, it is explained by Dr. Gero shortly after activating Android 17 and Android 18 that the process of configuring humans into cyborgs essentially grants them “eternal life”.

Toriyama revealed Android #17’s real name as Lapis in 2014. When introduced Android 17 has shoulder length black hair that is parted in the middle, which he retains throughout Dragon Ball Z.

In Future Trunks’ timeline, Marron was never born because her father, Krillin, was killed by the Androids, and her mother, Android 18, did not have a change of heart. Like Krillin, she is named after chestnuts; Marron is a French word for chestnuts.
While 17 and 18 possess infinite energy and were somewhat evenly matched in the Cell Saga, 17 is much stronger than 18 now. Also, though Dragon Ball Super confirms that Android 18 is still stronger than Krillin, the difference between her and her husband may not be as large as it was once believed.
Android 17 was originally a pure blooded human boy named Lapis, and the youngest out of him and his twin sister Lazuli (the eventual Android 18). The twins were notorious delinquents, who Dr. Gero would meet by chance while looking for fresh new material for his new experiments.

Because of their connection to Krillin, the inspiration for their names have come from the same place. Marron (the girlfriend) was created for anime-only filler years earlier and was only a minor character, so she probably wasn’t taken into consideration when Toriyama was thinking of a name for Krillin’s daughter.
