1. Re: threat of wildfires? No fires anywhere near Sedona at this time. Heavier restrictions in place though because conditions are extremely dangerous.
Sedona is very safe. The reason people recommend getting there before dark is because of wildlife on the roads, not bands of thugs terrorizing the place.
