Verdict: Kaplan NCLEX Prep Course Review Overall, I was very impressed with the Kaplan NCLEX prep course. The practice questions in their Qbank are highly realistic of real NCLEX problems, and when coupled with the tech behind their simulated exams, you get a real exam-like experience.

In summary, GRE Kaplan is not the book that you should be preparing with for your GRE, in order to get a good score. This book is also full of typos and errors, which is very frustrating when you’re trying to learn something as hard as GRE. It needs a complete overhaul.
Students can only take the Kaplan twice. It is our understanding that the most recent (the second, in this case) is the score that will count. Example: Student gets 72 on Kaplan first time, wants to take it again to see if they get a higher score, gets 68 second time, 68 is the score that will be used.

Verdict: UWorld vs Kaplan NCLEX With high-quality video lessons, optional live classes, a prep book, and bonus resources (most of which UWorld does not offer), Kaplan offers the better overall NCLEX prep option. This is especially true considering that their self-paced course with these features is less than $200 more.
Moreover, Kaplan is a great choice if you are planning to prep for NCLEX three months before the test day. With their massive question bank and their computer-adaptive tests that mimic the real NCLEX test, you can answer about 75 practice questions per day leading to the week of the NCLEX examination.
The same as the USMLE Rx, Kaplan has about anywhere from 2100 to 2400 practice questions, which works really well. … So, while USMLE Rx is probably a little bit easier than the natural exam, Kaplan is a little tougher than the actual Step 1 exam.

Kaplan MCAT prep is a great choice to get you ready for the MCAT. Many have gone through the course and had great success and you do have the higher score guarantee, which means Kaplan stands behind their work. Kaplan is a great choice if you learn mainly by lecture/video and practice questions.
The primary difference between the Kaplan and Princeton Review MCAT offerings revolves around instruction. Kaplan provides better quality on demand, video-based instruction, while we tend to like the quantity and approach of Princeton’s live classes better.
But yes, Kaplan is harder! But NCLEX can be difficult in that there is usually two good answers! … As other people have mentioned, Kaplan doesn’t have a lot of the priority or delegating questions that NCLEX has. I also used Mosby questions to study and I found those to be a lot less difficult.
It’s really comforting to know and hear Kaplan questions are a lot more difficult than the actual NCLEX exam. I do agree you can’t study everything for this test. I believe just having a strong knowledge base and much prayers is the key to mastering this exam.
Students must score a raw score of 65% to successfully complete the academic program and receive a diploma.
