What Are Back Shu points?

Known as Back Shu points (BSP), these points are located on the inner Bladder channel on the back, from BL 11 to BL 28 (Figure 1). Their traditional positions are said to be 1½ cun lateral to the inferior border of the corresponding spinous processes.

The Five Shu acupoints refer to the five specific acupoints categorized as Jing-well, Ying- spring, Shu-stream, Jing-river and He-sea, to which the Five Elements corresponding.

Front-Mu Points Specific acupuncture points on the ventral chest and abdominal wall are called the Front-Mu points. Front-Mu points are mainly effective to the problems of visceral organs such as stomach, small intestinal, large intestinal, gall bladder, urinary bladder.
