Currently, Dover Air Force Base operates 13 C-17 aircraft. The inherent flexibility and performance of the C-17 force improve the ability of the total airlift system to fulfill the worldwide air mobility requirements of the United States.

RAF Coningsby is the home to three front-line Typhoon units, No. 3(F) Squadron and No. 11 Squadron as well as No. 12 Squadron which is a joint RAF/Qatari Emri Air Force squadron.

Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst is one of the largest military installations and is located in the central part of New Jersey, only 40 kilometers away from Trenton. The base is operated by the United States Navy and has recently become part of the larger Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Fort Dix, NJ – Gate Hours, Map and Status Wrightstown Gate hours are 0600-2200, 7 days a week. Checkpoint-9 is the McGuire/Dix Commercial Gate, and hours are M-F, 0600-1600; Sat, 0600-1400 and closed Sundays. The Lakehurst Commercial Gate is open M-F, 0700-1500.
